The Walking Miracles Foundation is committed to finding those individuals committed to change but who don't have the resources to get the kind of help they need. Walking Miracles gives grants and encourages scholarships from treatment centers at the highest level of clinical resources so deserving persons can end the scourge of addiction for themselves and their families.
Addiction is a disease
Addiction is as treatable and chronic disease much like diabetes, heart disease and COPD. Lifestyle and Behavior affect all of these diseases and they all have similar profiles of treatment and relapse.
Walking Miracles is committed to supporting the research necessary to better understand and treat this disease by supporting those on the leading edge of research with grants and resource support that further everyone’s understanding.

What are you doing?" The young women, without stopping or looking up replied, "Throwing starfish into the sea--The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in they'll die.". The Walking Miracle Foundation was founded on a simple premise—people who want help for addiction should be able to get that help. At Walking Miracles we have seen the effect that sound, professional and focused treatment can have in changing the life of a person in addiction forever.
We have seen how the well placed careful nudge and offer of support can change lives forever. We are committed to being there for those in addiction who need that hand up, when they are ready. Walking Miracles provides treatment grants and encourages treatment center scholarships for those in addiction who cannot afford good treatment.
Walking Miracles supports research into making treatment better by studying outcomes and effect and new approaches to addiction treatment.
We believe helping people one by one through this process of recovery is one of the most satisfying and important tasks before us. We take it very seriously and we invite you to participate with us by offering a donation to our project. For each $10,000, Walking Miracles can sponsor a person through the process of high resource, intensive treatment by encouraging some of the best treatment centers in the country to donate a similar amount in scholarship, leveraging your contribution to bring a needing person long term treatment worth many tens of thousands of dollars.

At your request The Walking Miracle Foundation can directly assign your donation to a project or grant and then will update you on the status of that project or grant.
How much should I give?
We are honored to accept any size contribution. $10,000 is the amount it takes to bring one person through an incredibly discounted but highly resourced program detox, treatment, and aftercare.
